The Western Knights are out to claim the club's second Night Series crown in 42 years when they take on arch-rival, Perth SC in the 2010 Football West Night Series Grand Final this Sunday night at Clipsal Stadium.
Over the off season, coach Paul Price has been busy assembling one of the most exciting squads in the Premier League. Stuart Montgomery has returned to the Knights after a spell with Sorrento and has picked up from where he left scoring five goals in the Night Series so far.
Paul Van Dongen has added even more attacking options in the midfield which also boasts the likes of the Micevski Brothers, Simon Versaico and David Price.
Captain David Annall continues to be the rock in the heart of the Knights defence while exciting goalkeeper, Frazer Siddall continues his great form between the posts.
The Road to the 2010 Night Series Grand Final for the Knights:
1st Round - loss to Balcatta 1-0
2nd Round - win over Inglewood 2-0
3rd Round - win over Sorrento 5-1
Quarter Final - win over Floreat Athena 2-1
Semi Final - win over Sorrento 4-3
Perth as from recent encounters will be no easy opponents for the Knights and have been in impressive form in the 2010 Night Series.
The Grand Final will be played this Sunday March 7 at the Clipsal Stadium in Inglewood with kick off at 6pm.
