For Perth’s top flight Croatian backed Soccer Club, Western Knights it’s been quite an active off season so far with a new Executive Committee and Sub Committees elected at the club’s Annual General Meeting in early November as well the club’s Seniors securing a home ground for the 2012 season.

The Executive Committee will take charge of the club’s administration and finances and is made up of George Grasa, Steven Simich, Miso Bunic, Andrija Zuvela, Alan Pecotic, Gordana Sliskovic, Ineja Macina, Jack Grego, Dr John Harriott and Mark McPherson.

Miso Bunic has been re-elected as the President of the Seniors Sub-Committee and will be joined by Ned Cecic as Vice President, Alan Pecotic as Secretary and Andrija Zuvela as Treasurer. The Seniors Sub Committee also consists of Ante Kezic, Matthew Pavlinovic, Nikola Kezic, Nick Zdunic, Debbie Cattini and George Cattini.

Daniella Ronnestad will take on the position as Juniors President and will be assisted by Gordana Sliskovic, Ineja Macina, Helena Visic, Denis Simic, Amanda Simper and Mark McPherson.

The club has secured Wauhop Park in East Fremantle as its Seniors home ground for the 2012 season after agreeing to terms with the Town of East Fremantle and East Fremantle Tricolore Soccer Club. This comes as a welcome relief to everyone at the club after Nash Field in Mosman Park was deemed unsuitable by Football West to play Premier League Soccer. Nash Field in Mosman Park will remain the Seniors training base and the home of the club’s Juniors.

On field for the Seniors, Carl Medica has again been appointed the First Team Coach and will be assisted by Alex Christie. Ned Jukic will take the reigns of the Under 23’s while the Club’s Director of Coaching, Ein Eric will coach the Under 18’s assisted by Mano Psanoudakis.
